Quartzelec to discuss ‘all things electric’ at Electrify Europe

22 May 2018

With participation at key sector conferences and exhibitions being a focal point for Quartzelec, the international and independent engineering services provider, the next big show it’s gearing up for is Electrify Europe / 19-21 June 2018 / in Messe Wien, Vienna, Austria - Stand A-P32.

In its inaugural year as Electrify Europe the re‑imagined event is dedicated to the convergence underway between the power generation and the transmission & distribution sectors.  A direct replacement for the previously popular Powergen Europe; Quartzelec has already confirmed a prominent 36m2 stand and will be sending along a team of experienced representatives who can elaborate in detail about all things electric, particularly generator refurbishment and long‑term rotating machine maintenance options.

“Our knowledge and experience in the repair, refurbishment and rewind of large, project critical motors and generators means we are globally accepted as a technical authority in our sector,” stated Jamie Burns, Regional Director responsible for the company flagship facility based in Rugby, UK as well as the product specific Quartzteq GmbH business. “Electrify Europe will give us the opportunity not only to re‑connect with our existing customers in an informal setting, but provides a platform to reach out to new international contacts; enabling us to demonstrate our industry heritage and show-case our state‑of‑the‑art facilities. We will also be promoting our cost effective and practical product solutions including LIFEVIEW®; a fully flexible and modular condition monitoring solution that is used to evaluate the health of rotating electrical assets, a key component in reducing total cost of ownership over the lifetime of a machine and an integral element of any structured maintenance and repair strategy.”

Jamie continued: “As a business our focus is on assisting the uptime of the industry and we have invested heavily in key product development, services and training. Our unique and undisputed advantage to the supply chain is our legacy in both Rotating Equipment and Electrical Contracting and when looking to discuss this with the global industry, what better place than Electrify Europe.”

Electrify Europe covers all aspects of the electricity industry from generation to final consumption and is forecast to attract over 11,000 of the industry’s top practitioners.  There is also an extensive conference programme including keynote and plenary sessions as well as presentation arenas on the show floor that will be used to address many key issues affecting the sector including E‑mobility, Cybersecurity, AI, Blockchain, Demand Side Response and Energy Storage.
