Sales Engineer
We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will lead all external sales for the Quartzcoil Business Unit, and take responsibility for the sale of coils, bars and related products.
The ideal candidate will be home-based in the UK however the role will involve travel both within the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Account Management of all Quartzcoil external customers
- Face to face meetings with existing and potential customers both in UK/Ireland and overseas to ensure the customer order pipeline is in place for future works, selling the complete range of Quartzcoil products
- Main point of contact for all customer enquiries for HV/MV/LV coil and bar product sector
- Manage the CRM system ensuring it’s up to date, using data to contribute to projects and initiatives
- Provide support to both Business Managers and Profit Centre Managers with improvement ideas and initiative
- Meeting / exceeding Sales targets based on Quartzcoil annual objectives
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will possess:-
- A demonstrable experience working within the relevant industry (ideally rotating machinery)
- A good understanding of technical drawings and winding design features
- A continuous improvement attitude with the ability to influence colleagues and customers with positive initiatives
- The ability to assist and input into tendering processes
- The ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to travel both within the UK and internationally
