Chargehand / Team Leader - (Rail)

Reporting to the Workshop Manager we are now seeking an experienced Chargehand to work at our Sheffield site on the new rail contract.

Activities undertaken are both diverse and challenging as they cover all aspects of inspection and installing of machines.

Due to new contract wins, we have a number of exciting opportunities available at our Sheffield business based in Dinnington, we are now looking for a Chargehand/team leader to join our team.

Chargehand - Rail

This is a key role in overseeing a small team of electromechanical engineers working in the rail workshop. This is a hands on role providing technical support to the team and ensuring contracts are delivered on time, to quality and within budget.

Successful candidates will have excellent technical knowledge of rotating machines, AC/DC and traction motors, previous experience of working in the rail industry would be desirable and previously held a team leading position.
