Industrial Electrician
Due to continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in Wrexham.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Installation and maintenance of HV installations on DNO and private networks up to and including 33kV
- Recording and reporting of maintenance findings
- Perform authorised person duties, including receipt of safety documents
- Provide leadership, sound technical knowledge, a positive safety culture and strong technical awareness.
- Participate fully with all site Health & Safety and Environmental requirements
- Assist Senior authorised person with Testing of HV installations
- Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunking)
- Installation and termination of multicore cables.
- Ferrule identification and crimping of cores.
- Mounting and installing a variety of components.
- Installation of earthing systems
- Carrying out installations in accordance with design and legislation
- Desire to progress within role as it includes the training, guidance and experience necessary to develop
- Reports directly to the team of HV contracts Managers
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will possess:
- Must have demonstrable experience in an electrical contracting environment
- DNO Authorisations, or equivalent relevant experience/certification preferred
- A valid CSCS Card
- Up to date First Aid trained
- At least a level 2 vocational qualification in an electrical subject such as, Electrical Technologies, Electro technical Services/Systems, Electrical Installations, Marine Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible approach to travelling to jobs and work location
- Good Organisational and communication skills
