Workshop Supervisor
Our expanding team in Grimsby are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to report to the operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Responsible for day to day workshop activities including workload, labour and material handling
- Liaise with senior management and customers to participate in project reviews
- Liaise with office administrator to ensure records, reports and stock levels are maintained in accordance to company/legislative compliances
- Maintain a high level of workmanship, identifying areas for workplace and employee development
- Ensure a strong H&S and Quality focus at all timesCommunicates and leads by example a “Safety first” culture.
- Understands and communicates to the team the real importance of a Quality “right first time” and “on time delivery” ethos.
- Provides quality customer service, including when required interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively helping to handle customer complaints
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
The successful applicant will possess:
- Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, HNC or ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Demonstrates leadership attributes
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft packages
